Dr. Laura Beltran-Medina, President
Dr. Beltran-Medina is a bilingual Spanish/Bicultural, Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her Doctorate and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She utilizes Object Relations Therapy coupled with an Internal Family Systems approach. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and is a certified Qualified Medical Examiner and Forensic Evaluator.
Dr. Beltran-Medina is highly educated and accomplished and has been serving her community for over 17 years. She has extensive experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy, having worked with clients combating symptoms of Complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood, and personality disorders. She is skilled in psychological and neuropsycholgocial testing. She specializes in the treatment of military veterans, active duty service people, and children exploitation and human trafficking involved youth. She is sensitive, understanding, and attuned to her client’s inner and outer experiences.
Kisha Ojeda, Executive Board Member and Treasurer
Kisha is a Bicultural, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters of Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She has acquired speciality training in the areas of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, and Seeking Safety.
She has been serving her community for over 14 years. Kisha’s experience has led her to work with high risk individuals, couples, and families including military veterans, juvenile justice involved youth, and children exploitation and human trafficking involved youth, who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and Complex PTSD. She has a client-centered and non-judgmental approach that aids her client’s in overcoming adverse life events.
Maria Frausto, Executive Board Member and Secretary
Maria is a bilingual Spanish/Bicultural, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Chapman University. She has also studied family systems, existential, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. She has advanced training in treating trauma and utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Sand-Tray Therapy, Trauma Risk Management, and Motivational Interviewing.
She has been serving her community for over 20 years. She has extensive experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy, having worked with low-cost community clinics, nonprofits, and private practice. She has assisted clients combating symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, separation and divorce, geriatric and the aging, and interpersonal issues. Maria is warm and empathic and is acutely attuned to her client’s needs to ensure growth.
Bill Morris, Executive Board Member
Bill is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and United States Army Veteran.
